University of Florida apartments typically come with your choice of roommates. You can live with four roommates, sign up with one or two friends or get a single room all to yourself. Every option has its benefits and drawbacks and if you’re looking to save money, you might be surprised by which option is the cheapest. Here’s a rundown of your different housing options in student apartment facilities.

What Are Your Housing Options for Student Apartments?

Five bedrooms: Most student apartments don’t offer rooms bigger than this. You’ll have to share a room with four other people, but you’ll also get one of the cheapest rates in the facility. Typically, each resident gets their own bedroom with a private bathroom.

Four bedrooms: This is a little less crowded than five-bedroom apartments, but you’ll still have to live with three roommates. Still, you’ll be able to enjoy cheaper rent and a private bedroom regardless of the number of roommates.

Three bedrooms: Got a couple of friends who plan on attending the University of Florida? You can all live together in a spacious three-bedroom apartment.

Two bedrooms: If you don’t want a lot of roommates but want to save some money, choose a two-bedroom apartment. Your rent will be higher, but it won’t be the highest price on the market.

One bedroom: A one-bedroom apartment offers ultimate privacy. However, you’ll also have to pay the highest rates. Ultimately, you’ll have to decide if it’s worth the cost.
